Madison Adams picks parade theme: ‘Red, White and Blue … America! For Me and You!’
Madison Adams, a second-grader in Misty Ronyak’s class at Cherrington Elementary School, proposed the winning theme for the Rotary Club of Westerville’s 2024 Independence Day Parade: "Red, White and Blue ... Pollinator garden at McVay comes to life thanks to parent, Rotary
Erin Salsbery, whose two sons attend McVay Elementary, grew up surrounded by nature and wanted students to experience that same magic. Great Westerville kids, great Rotary honor
During the school year (October through May), the Rotary Club of Westerville honors four students each month from our community’s local high schools.
Working with the principals and guidance counselors, one student is chosen each month from Westerville Central, Westerville North, Westerville South and St. Francis DeSales, and honored at a club luncheon. Our Rotary Club of Westerville was founded in 1959.
Our Rotary Club of Westerville members enjoy great speakers, fellowship, and professional networking. Our meeting time is 12 noon on most Thursdays. Our permanent lunch location is the Villa Milano Banquet Center, 1630 W. Schrock Road.
